Credit card
The Lessee should have a valid credit card (American Express, Mastercard, VISA). A credit card is required for the payment of additional costs, such as rental extension, fuel shortage at the end of rental, damage not covered by insurance, traffic violations, parking fines, etc.

Personal documents
A valid driving licence and an identity card or a passport are required.

Car rental agreement
Before start of rental, Car rental agreement must be signed.

The purpose of rent
In exceptional cases, such as suspecting our vehicle would be used for illegal acts, we reserve a discrete right to decline a customer.

Payment
Payment is made at the beginning of the lease, on pick up.

Insurance
Any new damage must be immediately reported to the Police, otherwise the insurance is not valid. 'Full coverage' covers in full one damage (one harmful event). All vehicles are insured against liability for damage caused to a third party. Damage caused by our vehicle is covered by the insurance company up to the amount specified by law. The all above is valid if all conditions from the vehicle rental agreement are fulfilled.

Fuel
Fuel is not included in the price. The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as on pick up. If the amount of fuel is less than on pick up, missing fuel will be charged upon return, without refueling charge.

Price list of extraordinary expenses
Dry cleaning of the interior of the vehicle: 80,00 EUR
Lost or stolen car key: 100,00 EUR - 160,00 EUR (depends on key type)
Lost or stolen car documents: 200,00 EUR
Fueling wrong fuel: 100,00 EUR - 400,00 EUR (depends on the vehicle and where it is located)
Reinvoicing subsequent costs incurred in Croatia (parking ticket, speed ticket, etc.): 20,00 EUR + ticket + VAT
Reinvoicing subsequent costs incurred outside of Croatia (parking ticket, speed ticket, etc.): 35,00 EUR + ticket + VAT
Costs not listed in this price list will be charged as agreed and/or depending on the type of cost.

Sec.1.
EXPRESS RENT Rent a car and HIRER ( signed with data on the first page of this Agreement ) receives the car in a technicaly good state, under conditions situated on the first page of this Agreement.

Sec.2.
The first page is an integral part of this Agreement, EXPRESS RENT Rent a car and a HIRER accept all filled out lines with data and signature.

Sec.3.
Both sides have agreed that car can be used only by tehe HIRER , or the person permited on the first page of this Agreement.

Sec.4.
Hiring the car HIRER , binds himself:
- not to use the hired car for ilegal acts criminal actions, custom and forigen exchange violations
instructions of the drivers , for transport – pull another cars , not to transport combustible or
explosive materials with strong and disagreeble odour not materials able to damage the car and not to use the
car for any sport competitions
- not to pass the RH borders without permission of EXPRESS RENT Rent a car which will be added in this Agreement seperately
The necessary green insurance card is obliged
- to take car of the technical correctness of the car with in the duration of this Agreement according to the legal
traffic rules EXPRESS RENT Rent a car takes its night to control the car at any time and any place
- in case of an accident to ask immediately for an inspection by traffic authorites, to call the nearest EXPRESS RENT
Rent a car station , to secure the car against theft and do a writting statement about causes of the accident
- not to build-in not change any part on the car
- to return the car at set times and place forseen by this Agreement. For the infingement of the above order EXPRESS RENT
Rent a car will consider that as an olegal act of appropriation and immediately willl submit criminal charge against HIRER
to the competent authorities
- all the penelties in connection with the infringment of traffic regulations and other rules are to be borne by the HIRER
- to pay amount of this Agreement in an agreed period , otherwise the HIRER has to pay Court expenses and an interest

Sec.5.
In case of infringement section 4 of this Agreement , the HIRER will bear responsability and will be obliged to pay to EXPRESS RENT Rent a car all charges for damage.

Sec.6.
All EXPRESS RENT Rent a car cars have insurance : public liability and third party property damage are covered by compulsory insurance according to the motocar compulsory insurance.

Sec.7.
This insurance does not cover:
- the damage made by the HIRER or an autorized person under alcohol influce, according to the Trafic Law and other positives rules;
- the damage made by the HIRER or an authorize person under remedies influnce forbiden for using while the car is driven;
- the damage made by unauthorized person;
- if the HIRER or an authorized person causes a traffic accident by this fault or improper driving
- the car according to the positive traffic rules.

Sec.8.
Cost of fuel and repair of tyres for the renting period and washing are to be born by the HIRER.

Sec.9.
EXPRESS RENT Rent a car gives the car with full tank of fuel and HIRER is obliged to return the car with full tank.

Sec.10.
If during the use minor defects occur, the HIRER is authorized to repair the car in an authorized service station till 250,00 kn.
EXPRESS RENT Rent a car will refund this amount to the HIRER on bases of the correct invoice on which it has to be the specification about done repairing. Plate number of the car and have to be tiled to EXPRESS RENT Rent a car.

Sec.11.
This Agreement can be altered only by written confirmation of both sides.

Sec.12.
In case of ligitation the jurisdiction of a competent court in Rijeka will be abserved.

Sec.13.
This Agreement is made in 3 equal copies and comes into force with the date of the signature by the both sides on the first page.

EXPRESS RENT d.o.o. is registered for the car rental business. This activity is performed through the website www.expressrentcroatia.com. This Statement describes what data is recorded in our database, what purposes it is used for and what are your rights and our obligations regarding your personal data.

2. List of personal data

2.1. List of personal data when inquiring about car rental
When inquiring about car rental via the website www.expressrentcroatia.com, we record the following personal data in our system: name and surname of the user, email address, contact phone, name of the users company, company OIB.

2.2. List of personal data when making a reservation / Car rental agreement
When making a reservation / Car rental agreement in our system we write the following personal data: name and surname of the user, street, city, country, phone 1, phone 2, email , drivers license (number, country of issue, date of issue, expiration), date of birth, identity document (ID card or passport number, date of issue, country of issue), name of the users company, company OIB, users language (Croatian or English). The system stores a scan / copy of the drivers license and identity card or passport of the user.

3. Use of personal data
Data stored in our system are used exclusively for making offers and reservations at the request of the user, and the contracts and invoices as a realization of vehicle rental and other related costs. With the consent of the user, from time to time notifications are sent by e-mail about news in our services (newsletter).

4. Period of retention of personal data
All personal data in the system is stored permanently until it is deleted. Deletion shall be effected in accordance with the instructions in Article 6.

5. Processing and modification of personal data
Personal data in our system is not distributed outside our system and is not used for marketing activities of any kind. At the request of the user, all associated personal data may be changed.

6. Deletion of personal data
Every user has the right to delete their data from our system. The request for deletion is submitted to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in writing to info@expressrentcroatia.com.

7. Right to appeal
Every user has the right to appeal. If you are of the opinion that your personal data has not been used in accordance with Croatian or European data protection regulations, please contact us to clarify any problem. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Data Protection Agency, i.e. in the event of a change in the applicable regulations to another body that will take over its competence, and from 25.05.2018. to a supervisory body within the EU.
